There are several parts of the hydraulic clutch system that need special
attention in order to ensure a long life of trouble free use. Did you have a
SAACS clutch installed. I like these clutches for their heavy feel and
holding power. However, a stiffer clutch will result in amplifying the
effect of other worn parts in the system.

Based on your descriptions, I think that you should consider that the
throw-out bearing may not have been replaced. A bad bearing can cause
erratic dis-engaging. What about the engine mounts?

However, if you are sure about the list of replaced clutch parts, then I
would consider that the clutch master is faulty, or it is not properly
connected to the brake master reservoir.

Another consideration, is that the clutch pedal has excessive wear where it
connects to the clutch master. If it is worn, then this will cause the
clutch to consistently engage when the pedal is relatively close the floor,
as well as hiccup as you called as the light return spring on the pedal
overcomes the friction on the pivot and connection points.

Also, I learned the hard-way that you should never depress the clutch pedal
to try to remove the spacer ring. This can cause the slave to extend past
the o-rings and can damage them as it becomes mis-aligned. I always tap my
spacer ring out with a screw driver and a hammer.

It sounds to me like you have a list of parts that need further attention. I
think that it is unlikely that your clutch or slave is bad. I hope that this
is helpful.
