I have this strange heating problem : the other day the car started heating
too much. I tried to jump the thermostatic switch : the fan did not turn
on. I checked the fuse in the car : it is OK I checked the fuse in the
engine compartment : it is OK (I have the one speed version). I tried to
switch the two relays (one for fan and one for headlamp) which are similar
and it still does not work. I tried to wire directly the fan from the
battery : it work OK. I check the supply at the fan plug with the
thermostatic switch jumped : there is no tension apparently. I tested the
earth connection at the fan plug and it seems to be good. I've taken the
thermostat away and tested it in hot water : it opens and close OK

What the hell can be the reason of the fan not going on ?.. it's driving me
crazy !
Thanks for your help.
Laurent
