To add to the online knowledge base, the 9000 from those same years appear to
use the same audio setups, at least the 1996 9000CS I just recently bought
does. My 9000 did not come with a changer, so I wanted to add one. After
reading LOTS of old posts, scouring ebay and the like, and asking around the
history of the CD changer from Clarion appears to be as follows:

Originally the CDC605 was the model Clarion that worked with the Saab factory
Clarion head units. Later it changed to the CDC635, then the CDC634, and now
it appears the current model Clarion is making that works with these head
units is the CDC625.

I just bought a brand new CDC625 last month for my 9000CS and it works
beautifully. I paid something like $160-$170 which included the shipping. So
to recap, if you need one of these... if you are buying a new one, get the
CDC625 as it is the latest and greatest. If on the other hand you are going
to look on ebay or other online auction and classified sections for a used
one, the CDC605, 635, or 634 are all compatible.
