Pry out the entire switch box from the center console using a
flathead at the forward end of the switch box. At this point
the box is still attached to a wire connector, inside the
center console, on the underside of the box. Silde off the
connector cover and then remove the connector by pressing in
the connector latch.

Once you have removed the switch box you can pry off its cover
using a small flathead screwdriver. Work the screwdriver around the
middle of the edge of the box in order to release the cover from
its retaining lips. Be careful to remove the cover slowly as
the contacts can easily fall out of place. Once the cover is
off all pieces are easily accessible.
