Removing Steering Wheel

The patient is a '94 900, and the symptom is an occasional clicking noise
when turning the steering wheel. The clicking is very plastic sounding and
is definitely somewhere in the steering wheel (i.e. it's not a front end
noise). The noise only occurs on 'sharp' turns, where there is more than
one full turn of the wheel. It clicks through both the winding and
unwinding of the steering wheel. Not sure what could cause this, but I'm
sure it's gotta be something I can fix.

I'm a wee bit scared to remove the wheel, what with the airbag and all. Am
I going to kill myself just by removing the wheel?! As well, what is
involved? Is it just the two Torx screws on the back of the wheel, which
seems to allow the removal of the centre pad?

Tips appreciated; thanks!
