I was rummaging through my trunk this weekend and I noticed water
under the spare! Ouch....Took the spare out and pushed through the
two drain plugs. Which were very plugged. Not much rust, only a
slight start of discolor. We've had rain recently, but really???
I also washed the car the previous week. I cleaned out the plugs and
will reinstall them when things dry out.

QUESTION: a) Should I look for a rain channel/gutter internal/external
that may be plugged?

the trunk edge, 4dr version. Does this tend to admit water? A
friends Nissan had a spoiler that did just this and kinda ruined his
trunk area.

Anyway, I don't remember this being a SAAB feature.
