SID and Radio Removal

I have  a '95 900S.  The clutch was just replaced by a mechanic
here in Huntsville Alabama.  Unfortunately, in the process, they
disconnected the battery and I now need to re-enter the code on my
radio.  My problem is that I've lost the code over the years.  I
need to pull the radio and get the numbers off the radio and SAAB will give
me the code.  The problem is that I can't get the radio out.  I've
tried as suggested on the net to use 2 U shaped pieces of coat-hanger in the
holes and pull, but that doesn't work.  I even took it to a radio shop
and they too couldn't get it out.  My thought was, perhaps the SID needs
to come out first, or perhaps if the SID was out, I could read the code on
the radio.  I can't get it to budge either.  There is one hole on
either side of the SID, but there doesn't seem to be anything for any tool to
disingage to allow it to come out.  I hate the thought of having to
drive a couple hours away to the nearest SAAB dealer to have them take the
radio out for me....and charge me a fortune.&nbsp; Can anyone help?</DIV>
