Re: Key Fob Cliffhanger

Drivers: I hung the key fob out to dry on a breezy and dry Autumn day here
in Alpharetta, Georgia. I then brought it inside, put the rubber button
covers back in place, and reinstalled the two oh-so-wafer thin batteries. I
then walked outside the garage, pointed the fob at my 900s and pushed the
'lock' button.

The greenlight flashed but no lock action. I pushed the 'trunk' button. No
joy. Fortunately, I have two of these devices.

I suspect that removing the batteries deprogrammed the fob. I know my
neighborhood Saab specialist, Sovereign Automotive can reprogram this.

The question is, if I hadn't removed the batteries, would it still need to
be reprogrammed? We'll save that one for a future cliffhanger.

regards,
Paul Sotrop
