If you find an explanation, please let us know about it. My '97 900S
does almost the same thing. Except that it usually has to be cold and
slushy or icy as well. If it is warm, rain doesn't bother the brakes.

A related problem is that the brakes do not work unless you really nail
them hard if the car has been sitting out in cold/damp weather during
the winter. Living in Nova Scotia, these problems can be a real pain.

I find this unbelievable for a car from a cold country and which is
reputed to be safe and well-engineered. That's one of the reasons why
this will be my first and last SAAB. Give me a Passat or Acura 3.2 any
day thank you.
