North American Saab Convention Update

Due to unfortunate delays, the registration materials for the 2000 
Owner's convention are only just getting to the printers. Any of you 
who are already on the Saab USA, NINES, or other mailing lists should 
be receiving your packages around the first of the month, if not 
sooner.

Have no fear, nobody has registered yet, and we will not accept 
registrations before we are confident that they are in the hands of 
the majority of Saabers. All the slots for the track events at the 
storied Lime Rock Park are available.

Year 2000 Convention returns to the Northeast!

Mark your calendars for the weekend of July 7 though 9!

The New Jersey Saab Owner's Club is promoting SAAB 2000 - the North 
American Saab Owner's Convention at the Hudson Valley Resort, 
Kerhonkson, NY.  Less than half an hour from I-87 and New Paltz, NY, 
the Hudson Valley Resort is situated in the scenic Catskill Mountains 
of lower New York State.

Track events return to the Saab Convention!

The storied Lime Rock Park in northwest Connecticut, where Saabs tasted
American racing success as far back as 1957, will host Saab 2000s track
days. Track Days will be Wednesday and Thursday July 5 and 6. There will be
a parade of Vintage and not-so-vintage Saab race cars on July 6. Details on
track day rates and programs to follow.

If you wish to obtain more information, please call the Saab Convention
Hotline  at 1-800-438-7222 and press '6'. Leave your name and address, and
a registration package will be sent to you.  Registration materials
will be mailed as soon as they are printed. Registration forms
will contain all information about the track events.
