Energy MXV4 is IMO a truly lousy tire. This is, of course, a personal
opinion, and Michelin makes a number of good tires (Michelin owns BFG, so
they actually made the tires you own) but the Energy MXV4 is the leading
example of the 'eco-squealer' breed.

The only way to know the actual size of a tire is to check the mfr's spec
sheets. Many mfrs now have these on their websites. Don't count on two
tires of nominally the same size to in fact be exactly the same.
Variations of +/- 1/2' are not too unusual between two tires of the same
numeric size.

John.
