I have to wonder if the folks who are so bothered by the glare of these
have been staring into them. They certainly are bright but if you look a
bit toward the right, then they don't really seem any more annoying than
regular headlights - they're just different. If you look right at regular
headlights, they are blinding too. And the HID lights are far less
blinding than the morons who forget to dim their highbeams (including the
idiots behind) or have mislaigned headlights that seem to be aimed up and
far left (and they wonder why they can't see the road well?). Although I
suppose mislaigned HID lights would be a problem.
