MP3 Files

Took delivery on my 2001 Convertible yesterday; my two car garage is now
a two Saab garage (my other is a 88 TC).

I heard a rumor a few months back that the stock in-dash CD player can
decode MP3 files burned onto a CD-R. I tried it out, but the player
read it as only having one track and did not play. Was it a fanciful
tale I heard or do I need to do something to get the player to recognize
the disk? Burn the files to a specific file structure on the CD?

Many thanks,

Lisa Marie Kuta
