SAAB 2002 MODEL YEAR HIGHLIGHTS

Saab 9-3 for 2002:
      2002 marks the 25th anniversary of Saab turbocharging, and the 
Saab 9-3 line-up celebrates this milestone with numerous exterior and 
interior enhancements. Saab has replaced its base 9-3 model 
(three-door and five-door) with a value-priced 9-3 SE five-door 
model. The 9-3 Viggen line-up continues with three-door, five-door, 
and convertible models, each with a new Sand Beige interior color 
option, matched with a carbon-fiber instrument panel.
      The 9-3 SE five-door challenges convention by providing the 
segmentīs only blend of progressive design with outstanding safety, 
performance, and versatility. It delivers the capabilities of 
multiple vehicles in one smart value package. The 9-3 SE five-door 
should be considered the outstanding European offer below $30,000 in 
the entry luxury segment.

205-horsepower high-output turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder 
engine

exterior body kit, a sunroof, power driverīs seat, and a wood-grained 
instrument panel

premium-car segment. The new Saab 9-5 will be available starting in 
December.

such as stock quotes, customized news, etc. OnStarīs continuing 
safety and security features such as automatic airbag notification 
and route guidance enhance Saabīs real-life safety philosophy. Twelve 
months of OnStarīs premium service is included.
      Saab No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance Program now covers all 
models (included with Premium Package on 9-3 SE five-door). This 
program covers all factory-recommended scheduled maintenance for 3 
years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
