You have to pressure-bleed the clutch system.

Works beautifully on all SAAB hydraulic clutches, and brake systems too
(I've used it on 900/9000 non-ABS and Mark-II ABS systems with excellent
results.)

The idea behind pressure-bleeding is to apply air-pressure to the fluid in
the reservoir, forcing it through the system and out the bleeder screw. In
a pinch, you can rig up a bicycle pump or bug-sprayer contraption to do
this, but it's somewhat tricky to get a good seal on the reservoir neck. A
spare Mark-II ABS reservoir cap with a tire-valve stem installed works
great. Some have successfully used a chunk of old tire-tube and a
hose-clamp. Either way, using air alone is not convenient because you have
to top up the fluid frequently.

The Gunson kit does the following:

Eliminates sealing difficulties (contains an assortment of reservoir caps
with air-tight line fittings).

Eliminates pumping hassles (by using the air in your spare tire). OK, so
it's somewhat of a hassle to drag out your spare tire, but hey, at least it
give you the incentive to make sure you actually have air in it !

Eliminates the need to top-up the fluid or worry about pushing the fluid
level too far down (pressure bottle holds enough fluid to flush the lines in
your system).
