This is possible -- it's called GAP insurance, and apparently it's available
to financial entities as well as consumers (a consumer would purchase GAP
insurance to cover the difference in a scenario where the car was totaled or
stolen and the pay-off is less than the balance owed on the lease (common).

Saab Financial probably has a similar deal with the entity they use that
determines a vehicles residual value.

Search Kelly Blue Book www.kbb.com Ên your car (go to
Used Cars,Êrade in values) and enter all the data and look up the value --
you should be able to buy a Saab for somewhere near this amount (plus or
minus $500 to $1,000). If your payoff or residualÊs way above this amount,
walk away and look at eBay or the saabnet classifieds -- good luck!
