9-3 Wet Braking & HP Differences

brakes are wet. That is to say, when I drive on the highway in the rain
for a reasonable length of time (a few minutes), the brakes don't work very
well when I first hit them. It seems like they are getting wet, and need
to be dried out by heat and friction. Trouble is, at 85-90 miles an hour,
this translates to about 100 feet with very little brakes! Yikes. Of
course, the solution I am using now is to drag the brake occaisionally.
Not very satisfying in a brand new car. I seem to remember having this
problem in my '9000T, but I don't remember why it went away. Yes, I will
take it into the dealer, but I was looking for some collected wisdom.

between the 205 hp H.O.T. in the 9-3 SE, and the 185 hp in my
base 9-3? Exhaust mods? Turbo mods? Just the APC?
