Injector Resistance

maybe there is someone out there who might help me. I read the chapter in
the Bentley manual concerning the fuel injection on the classic 900 turbo
models. It is said, that injector resistance at 20°C should be about 16ohms
and generally it should be in between 10 and 20 ohms. The voltage at the
injectors should be 0.3-1.0 volts depending on engine temperature. I
measured my fuel injectors and the voltage from my LH2.2 on my '88 SPG and
the readings were quite correct. 17.5 ohms on all injectors and 0.25 volts
(since I use a 3bar fuel pressure regulator instead of the original 2.5bar
this seems to be o.k.). Now I have some spare LH2.4 injectors and their
resistance is only 2.5 ohms! The Bentley manual does not state that their
are different injectors or voltages on the different model years of cars,
but I know (from saab) htat their are at least six different types of
injectors used on the LH2.2 and LH2.4 (which is different for '89-'90 and
'91 and on). I measured the voltage on a '91 LH2.4 and it was 1.0-1.5
volts. Now my question. Can the LH2.2 injectors be used on LH2.4 modules
and vice versa? I am afraid that the lower resistance of the newer
injectors might damage the old LH2.2. What about aftermaket products. There
are special injectors e.g. from Swedish Dynamics, but thy seem to be the
same for all model years. Has someone tried to use a fifth injector in
addition to the standard four injetors by using the LH signal instead of
using an even higher fuel pressure? Thank's a lot to all.
