Non-ETS Conversion

After owning my first Saab, a '93 9000CSET for only 7 months, I've had
enough of the TCS-ctrl/ETS errors. So far every limp-home has been
immediately correctable with a restart. Although I can't see myself having
to live with this flaw forever, I do intend to keep my 9K for as long as I
can. I've heard of limited cases where people have converted their '92->
9000s to the non-ETS setup (ie: standard throttle control).

I would like to explore this some more, but don't know where to start or
what are the exact parts I need for the process (presumably all used
parts). Which of my existing ETS components need to be discarded and which
ones can be kept ?

Is this conversion procedure manageable by most Saab techs ? With only 3
Saab dealers in town and 1 competent indy shop not equipped with
TechII/ISAT, should I only find someone who has done this ?

Any insight on the parts/procedures/pricing/parts sources etc would be
greatly appreciated by a diehard Saab 9000 owner.

TIA,
