I am trying to track down a source for the factory manuals.  I tried my
dealer and they came back with a blank look.  I asked them to check it out
and they came back with a $750 price.  I e-mailed Saab and they sent me the
following message.

'John, thanks for visiting the Saab website. We have found that the service
manuals for the 9-3 SE cost $600 for the complete set and that the part
number is 03 84 123. This can be ordered through your dealers parts
department. Thanks for contacting Saab Cars USA.'

I passed this along to my dealer who ordered the part number shown for the
$600 price.  Unfortunately, when I opened the box, it lacked my 2.0 turbo
engine.  On the up side, it did have a diesel.  It also lacked the manual
transmission but it did have the automatic.  The dealer took the manuals
back and promised to look into the problem, however, that was 6+ months ago
and I am still waiting.  E-mails to Saab have gone unanswered.

Does anyone know of a good dealer with a competent parts guy who can supply
the manuals for my car.  I am even willing to spend the exorbitant $600
required figuring I will save that many times over throughout the life of
the car.  Unfortunately, my dealer has not been any help.  I have seen lots
of Saab adds in NINES, anyone have any experience with one of them?
