I got two other responses to the bi-xenon light query. See below.

Meanwhile, in browsing this month's R&T, I noticed the lights listed
in option packages for the Mini Cooper and Mercedes E500. The
packages were about the same price as the Saab touring package, but
gave you considerably more.

Since Laura was interested in the premium package, we'll probably go
ahead and get the touring package too (it might have been too much
money to buy the premium package just so we could pay 1200 more for
the lights [and parking assist]). Now, we have to find the wagon
that has those packages and not the automatic tranny (there's only
one Linear wagon with MT between New York and Washington...).

and Tom and Ray Magliozzi don't think it's fair that some people have
those lights and others don't, so they must be good.
