Well, the part is the same on all 9000 cars, '85 to '98.  SAAB even has the
same part number for it for all model-years:  75 76 416.

Surprisingly enough, this part is obtainable for $15, as shown at the
bottom of the following page:

http://townsendimports.com lists the
same part for just under $20, and

indicates that it fits '91.5 - '93 ('94CV) 900 cars as well (SAAB does not
list the latter as available separately from the whole rod-to-rod joint
assembly).  Methinks it's an aftermarket component, manufactured in Sweden
by Scan-Tech.
