Gearbox Bearings

Has anyone ever tried to replace the gearbox o/p bearings on a 9000 ('93)?

I've just been under the car and I can move the lefthand drive shaft 2-3mm
(side to side) at the gearbox housing - there is also oil coming out of the
oilseal, which explains my oil loss.

I've looked at the (useless) Haynes manual and there isn't even an exploded
diagram of the gearbox!

The Haynes talks about being able to remove the shaft from the gearbox
in-situ to replace the o-ring oil seal. My question is does the bearing
come out with the oil seal housing? (It seems to be called the 'bearing
housing') If it does - then I'm going to try to replace it.

So the following would be useful:

a) Experience of anyone who has done this
b) Exploded diagram of the gearbox - scanned from a decent manual!!

Cheers,
