9-5 Recall

I have a 1999 9-5, and earlier this week my car engine just cut out while I
was driving. While I was able to re-start it, the 'CHECK ENGINE' light
came up on my dashboard and stayed there for the two mile ride to my home.
When 'CHECK ENGINE' light came up again the next day, and the car continued
to stall after I started it, I dutifully had the car towed to my local
dealership. The dealer then advised me that the problem was probably
caused by a defective part in the engine that had been the subject to a
recall campaign. He then did whatever had to be done and the car was
working today.

My question is: I don't recall having received a recall notice on this
part, and I called Saab USA and was told that my car had not been subject
to a recall campaign. Does anybody know about this recall campaign?
