ABS Light and Sensor

I have a '91 9000 Carlsson 2.0T and the ABS light comes on after a few
minutes of driving off and at the first speed hump I go over.  It sometimes
resets itself or I switch the car on/off to reset it.  Continuing the
journey, the ABS light would come on again when I make L or R turns.  I
noticed that light comes on mostly after the turn when the wheels are
recentering.  This occurs mostly when the turn is made a moderate speed. At
slower speeds ie turning into a driveway, the ABS light doesn't come on.
Also at times, the light would come on if I hit rougher roads or a few
bumps.  I suspect it is ABS sensors in either or both front wheels.

So, could someone please advice me on what to look for, what do the sensors
look like and where are they attached and how to fix or adjust etc etc.  I
have recently changed front rotors and pads, though I don't think I
disturbed anything, then again!!!!
