Bad Throw-Out Bearing

I do not think you need to replace a throw out bearing right away because
it 'chirps' once in a while unless the sound is very annoying or
disturbing. I had a 1974 Model 99LEH and the car had its orginal throw out
bearing when I sold it a few years ago when it had 215,000 miles.
Ocassionally, the bearing would make some noise, although not really a
'chirping' noise, but it would get better and worse.
Hope it helps.
Stan the SAAB man
there were three previous SAAB's in my life, and I miss them all/ RIP
presently: 1996 900S (non-turbo) - not too bad a car!
