Can anyone tell me which 'Clarion-for-Saab' single CD player(s) will
match the OEM Clarion AM/FM cassette head unit in my '91 9000 CD(t)?

I am specifically looking for >part numbers<. I keep seeing various
Clarion single CD units come and go on Ebay. They mostly look the same
but there seem to be some subtle differences between them. I am hoping
my stereo is compatible with a single CD player that does NOT require
the CD sleeves/cartridges but if that's what it has to be then I'm ok
with that. I've had my stereo out and it's got leads for a CD player
(not too sure about a changer but don't care about that anyway).

Obviously I know enough to stay away from any Harmon Kardon units but
there seems to be some kind of cut-off point on the '93 or '94 model
year for Clarion units that will NOT work with earlier models... or so I
am led to belive. (T/F?)

Any help on or off-list is much appreciated! Direct email (with part
