Winter Handling

Hello, I'm a newbie to this list, so please excuse me if this is
an inappropriate question or manner of asking it.

That said, I'm in the enviable position of being able to buy a
new Saab soon (the next few months), and pretty much having my
pick of the litter.

I've pretty much settled on the 9^3 SE, but the Viggen and the
9^5 Aero are also quite tempting. Regarding the Viggen: my chief
concern is how it handles in any kind of wintery conditions.

I live in Southern Ontario, Canada, so getting a car that can't
really be driven well in the snow chops out about four to five
months of driving time.

Can one put 16' winter radials on the Viggen, or does the
suspension/brake assembly pretty much rule out anything but the
17' performance wheels it comes with?

Is the Aero w/ it's traction control any better in the winter?
