Water leaks

I have a 1989 900 Turbo convertible. I have a problem with water getting in
under the carpeting both front and rear on the driver's side only. I cleared
out all the drains I could find but the problem persists. The top is in good
shape. The windshield was replaced a while back by a reputable installer.
Thinking that must be the culprit, I had them check the installation.
They said (of course) that it was installed correctly. Does anybody have any
ideas where I should go from here? I suppose I could strip out the interior
and check with a running hose, but that is a lot more work than I care to
tackle.
Thanks in advance
