Rear Seat

A strange thing happened to me this past weekend. I went to fold over the
rear seat cushion to configure the rear for carrying cargo, and the rear
seat cushion will not budge. It appears to be hung up on something in the
middle of the seat. I have already disconnected the hinge to the seat
cushion (per Bentley), but have met with no success. Bentley manual says
that seat cushion should lift out easily once the hinge is disconnected,
but even a large pry bar will not budge the seat cushion. Has anyone
confronted such a situation as this? Will I have to break the framing for
the seat cushion to get it out? The seat back seems to fold normally. it
is the bottom seat cushion that is posing the problem. The seat had folded
normally as recently as last week.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
