While you can turn the DRLs off by pulling a fuse, the recommended
method is to have the DRL state changed via a Tech II. There are
three states: DRL Off, DRL Low Intensity and DRL High Intensity.
The last one uses the low beam while low intensity just uses the
position light that is also in the headlight assembly. In both
cases, tail, parking and dash lights are on. If you just pull the
fuse, you don't get other light-related functionality to work
properly.
