With the start of the NY Auto Show, business page stories covering
the show are emerging.  In one of them covering the exploits of
GM's Bob Lutz, it was revealed that stylists at Saab are now
submitting designs for possible Cadillacs of he future.

It seems Saab is well respected on many fronts.

The April 1 issue of AutoWeek mentioned that Saab will begin
selling aftermarket products capable of boosting the 9-5 Aero's
engine from 250 horsepower to 305 hp and torque from 258 lb-ft to
309 lb-ft.  

'Saab Performance by Hirsch' components go on sale this July in
Europe through a partnership with Swiss-based Hirsch Performance.  

Saab Cars USA is considering offering the products stateside and
says encouraging calls to 800-722-2872 (800-SAAB-USA) will help the
company make the decision. 

The performance line also includes suspension, brake and wheel
upgrades as well as interior and exterior sport styling accents.
