i just had a cracked windscreen replaced on my 99 9-3SE. (ironically,
while in the shop for that repair, they claim an airhose went nuts and
smashed my REAR windshield too!) -- anyway, when i picked it up tonite,
as soon as i started the engine i could hear a different, not-normal
sound. the right side of the new windscreen was letting in a lot of
outside noise -- as if the passenger side window or door was not shut tight.

the windshield appears to be sealed correctly -- the only anomaly i can
see is on the interior side. near the bottom where the glass meets the
dash, there's a much larger gap (say 1-2') between the glass and the
plastic dash on the right side than on the driver side (where the glass
meets the plastic snugly).

does anyone have any info about this kind of repair and what kind of
recourse i have with the glass shop? the repair was done by a SAAB dealer.

thanks much
