     i would like some help diagnosing problems with
my 90 9000s.  i am currently troubleshooting the
following problems:
    1)my alternator has been replaced 2x in the past 2
months. i admit the new alts could have been bad since
they were purchased from a stripping yard, but is
there anything else i should look at?  it seems as if
after changing it the first time the car ran great for
a few weeks then a dead battery again (it died while i
was driving the car).  i replaced the alt. again and
the same thing happened.  also can anyone let me know
which saabs and years would have the same alternator
as my '90 9000s (us spec).
    2)my second problem has to do with my clutch, it
seems as if on long trips were i maintain a constant
speed with out shifting alot the pedal looses pressure
and drops to the floor making it almost impossible to
shift.  if i stop and wait about 15 min with the car
off and restart it the pedal has pressure again and is
normal.  recently after a trip the pedal dropped and
has only came back up slightly and has since stayed at
this position making it hard to shift. i am thinking
it may be the slave cyl. and i am going to buy a
rebuild kit in the next few days when i return to the
states (parts are cheaper in the states) 

    any help or info is greatly appreciated and
needed.
