Pull out the fuel pump and check the pickup screen on the bottom of the
pump. Or at least that is where it is *supposed* to be: my guess is
that it is in fact on the bottom of the TANK, thus causing fuel pickup
problems when you corner hard.

Might be the fuel pre-pump in the tank. When it goes bad it makes your
main pump work that much harder, and it usually shows when the tank is less
than half full.

#2 is the classic sign of a fuel prepump failure. This is a small
electric pump that keeps fuel around the main pump. If you pull out the
fuel pump assembly, the prepump sits near the bottom and has a filter
(which should also be replaced) on the pickup.
