Go ahead and check your oxygen sensor, Derek, but this sounds more like
a temperature sensor to me, especially if it runs fine when cold. It
sounds like the sensor is stuck in the cold reading, so it's still
telling a warm engine that it needs a richer mixture. Do you notice
some black smoke coming out of the tailpipe when it is at its worst? It
seems to me that Bentley has a test for the temperature sensor - I think
its resistance increases or decreases with temperature. It probably has
a default setting it goes to if you unplug it. That's what I'd try.
Not sure on the 9000, but on my C900 the temp sensor is right beside and
almost under the thermostat. Good luck with it!
