My current choice for tire fitment for 15 inch wheels is the General =
XP2000 H4 (assuming they are still available). I got them as an =
experiment for my old war pony 900T16 and have found them to be =
EXCELLENT. They are very sticky on dry pavement, handle volumes of rain =
well, and have never failed to pull me through the snow/ice. The set =
that I have are about worn out and I will probably replace them with =
the same tire. They are actually made in Sweden (according to the =
sidewall) not that it matters much, and have a tire sidewall max =
pressure of 43 psi. Treadlife has been pretty good and at the price (I =
think I paid $55 per tire) very cost effective. They are an assymetric =
tread pattern and must be mounted properly with inner and outer sides =
paid attention to, BUT they are NOT unidirectional, and can be rotated =
side to side iff need be. Give them a try, I think you'll like them. =
Although I can't guarantee that all things would be equal on a 9000 vice =
