This would be one way to fix it.

Alternatively, you could pick up a couple of used switches at a junkyard for
a couple of bucks a piece. The 9000 switches are quite rare, as only a few
9000 cars came to the USA without ACC. But, you're in luck, because any 900
switch from about '86 to '93 should work just as well, and there are
thousands of these lying around in junkyards.

Another way to fix it is to pull the old switch out, clip two wires )blue
and yellow/white) from behind it, and connect them to a generic ON/OFF
switch purchased from a place like Radio Shack. It won't look pretty, but
it will get the job done.

Doesn't matter. All that the switch does is connect them together in the ON
position, which turns on the A/C compressor.

Well, actually, by connecting these two wires together, you're telling the
LH2.4.2 (fuel-injection system) computer that you want A/C to be on, and if
it feels like it, it will turn it on for you...

The other wires at the back of the switch are for it's illumination.
Brown/White = positive, Black = ground
