Speaking for the USA/Canada markets:

First, there's five different body-styles to consider, along with the 1987
'facelift' (integrated bumpers and flush headlights).

The 5-door was only available in 1979 and 1980, so that's got to be pretty
damn rare by now.

The 2-door was only available from 1985-1987. Quite rare, and if you
consider the facelift, the new-bumper (1987) 2-door is rarer still.

The convertible has one super-rare year: 1986. It's the only year
convertible with the old-style bumpers. There was a special edition for
1988 called 'Springtime In Sweden'.

The 4-door was around from 1981-1993, so it's not rare at all. Perhaps a
16-valve turbo 4-door may be slightly rarer, as it was not offered every
year in the 1985-1993 period.

The 3-door is the least rare body-style. It was available in both turbo and
non-turbo trim every single year from 1979 to 1993. Rare versions are the
SPGs, available from 1986 to 1991. 1986 is the only year SPG with old-style
bumpers. 1991 is the only year SPG with 185hp. The rare 1993 commemorative
edition 3-door shared this highest-ever stock-horsepower C900 motor.

Enjoy !

David.
