Changing Ventilation Air Filter

I've already gotten four requests on how to chance a ventilation air
filter, so I'm posting it to everyone.

1. Remove the windshield wipers..if you look at the base of the wiper,
you'll see a small notch which you can pry off and then unscrew the wipers.
It would be a good idea to mark the position of the wipers on the
windshield with some tape.

2. Underneath the hood, pull the weatherstipping from the black bulkhead
(the black plastic next the windshield)

3. Lift up the bulkhead cover and disconnect the washer tube from the adapter.

4. Unclip and remove the ventilation air filer..put the new filter in and
reverse the removal steps.

Under 1/2 an hour. The only tricky part is refitting the bulkhead. The
filer is around $40 US at my dealer...they charged me $50 to change it as
part of my 20K mile service. Your supposed to change is once a year/every
12K miles.
