It *does* have softer bushings, but that affects the ride more so than the
handling - as I recall. What affects the handling the most in 9000 models
is whether the car has the standard suspension (both the '87 and the CSE
have) or the Sports Suspension (like the Aero or the '91-92 9000T), and of
course the tires, for which the Michelin MXV4 are better known for their
ride than handling. Even so, the CSE shouldn't be unusually sensitive to
cross winds. If there's a mechanical flaw that is causing the crosswind
sensitivity, it should show up in other ways as well. I'd say having it
checked by someone knowledgeable and experienced with 9000's is in order.
