done?

In my opinion you should always do the maintenance procedures recommended by=
=20 SAAB. =20

Coolant replacement, accompanied by a flush, and a new thermostat is good=20
basic cooling system maintenance. A check of the serpentine belt, idler,=20
water pump for leaks, hose condition, and radiator cap should be included as=
=20 well. Thermostats are cheap even at SAAB prices ($12-$15); during the
winte= r=20 they show up as a car that never warms up causing low/no heat,
poor=20 performance and economy.

Brake fluid should be replaced as a preventive measure. It's much less=20
expensive than replacing the brake master cylinder/ABS unit. Brake fluid=20
does deteriorate over time; water and dirt get into the system. Both of=20
these undesirables can cause expensive damage. So brake fluid replacement i=
s=20 the cheap preventive measure.

Good luck,

Herb Hirsch
