I have a 1995 900s, and was hoping I could find answers here to some
questions I have.

Tires: For Winter I have Nokian Hakkapeliitta NRW H-rated tires on steel
wheels. They are excellent in most conditions. I just found a set of
very nice 9-3 three-spoke alloy wheels, and would like to put some
'performance' rubber on them. I have been considering Bridgestone
Potenza RE-71 tires, but found out about Fulda Z-rated tires, which are
much less expensive. I'm told Fulda is the number one selling
replacement performance tire brand in Germany, where they're made. Does
anyone have experience with Fulda? I'm also considering Continental
SportContact tires, which are more expensive than the Bridgestones. I
know Continental tires are standard on some BMWs, so I would expect them
to be of excellent quality. Anyone have experience with Continentals? I
have been told not to skimp on tires for my NG900, because the early
NG900s are very sensitive to front wheel balance. Apparently the tires
have to be in absolutely PERFECT balance, or else she'll shimmy like
heck. So I've written Pirellis off, since I've found them to be pretty
much junk.

Exhaust: My exhaust system is in pretty good shape, but I was wondering
if the sport exhaust sold in the accessory catalog fits 2.3 liter 900s.
The catalog says it fits Turbo cars, but I was told that all NG900s have
the same exhaust. If the 2.3L and Turbo exhaust systems are different,
does anyone know if the cool exhaust tips sold in the catalog will fit a
2.3L exhaust? The catalog says the tips fit the sport exhaust.

SID display: I have noticed some vertical segments of the SID display
have gone dark. When the display reads 'CHECK OK' some vertical parts
of letters will be dark. When I hit SEEK on the radio, the vertical part
of the K will be dark. Is this repairable? Can anyone give me some
information about replacing or fixing this?
