The 'dash howling' at around 70MPH is usually caused by a leak in the
windshield seal of the NG900. There is (or was) a factory program to fix
this at no charge. The correct fix is to remove and re-seal the windshield
using new sealing materials, but you may find, as I did, that the dealer
tries to just apply some additional sealant to the affected area.

A problem with the fix is that the windshield MAY shatter when they try to
remove it. Of course, they then need to replace the windshield. This is
what happened in my case. The dealer (Saab Nashua North in Merrimack, NH)
was very gracious about it.
