Since Saab is a wholly owned subsidiary of GM, you could say that ALL Saab
part numbers are also GM part numbers. But I suspect that's not your
question.

Saab's spare parts network is completely independent of GM (other than that
GM actually owns it ;-)). Even when parts for the USA are made-in-USA
equivalents for logistic simplicity, reduced cost, or improved delivered
quality (batteries, for example - makes no sense to mail tons of lead
across the ocean so that the batteries can be stale when they finally
arrive) the purchase orders come from Saab AB.

That said, there are 'GM parts' in Saabs - just as there were GM parts in
Saabs before GM ever had any ownership (the steering rack, and some years'
air conditioning compressors come to mind), and when . Remeber though that
GM, like most manufacturers and all large manufacturers, has worked hard to
get out of the parts making business. So even when similar or identical
parts can be found on other GM cars, that doesn't mean that GM makes the
part. Many GM cars have similar or identical Bosch ABS, for example.
Cadillac 'Catera' cars might use the same power window switch assembly as
Saab uses. An enterprising person could (and I suspect this is your real
question) search out the manufacturer's original part number from a Saab
part and cross reference that part to see if domestic GM products use the
same part. Then you might be able to 'get it cheaper' from the Chevy Store
or (worse yet) find an aftermarket equivalent.
