Radiator Leak

This 1992 9000T w/ manual transmission and 129k miles was bought used in
1995 with 38k miles. Every few months for maybe two years the ABS and TCS
CTRL warning lights would come on first intermittently and then on a
sustained basis. Over this two year period dealers replaced more or less
under warranty ($150 deductible) the throttle body, ETS vacuum switch,
throttle contact pins, the TCS and ABS computers and I think the crankshaft
sensor. Ultimately it turned out that the problem was a faulty brake
pressure switch that was throwing the whole system out of whack in an
undiagnosable way.

Car has now been fine for 3-4 years. Within the last week several times the
TCS CTRL light has come on and stayed on on a warm restart (twice after
getting gas and twice after stopping for ~5 minute errands) and car has
gone into limp home mode. Restarting immediately generally has not restored
the car to health. After maybe 5 minutes of highway driving I can generally
turn off the ignition and then it will be okay on immediate restart. The
car will also generally be okay on a cold restart. I know the obvious thing
to do is take it to be scanned for codes etc., but in view of my earlier
experience with the ETS/TCS diagnostics I am reluctant to do so cold and
thought the pattern of failure might suggests the locus of the fault to the
SAABNET experts. (Thanks in advance...) I cleaned a bunch of contacts last
weekend and the problem did not go away.

Subject: Radiator Leak
==================
I have a 1996 900SET that has developed a small leak that appears to be
coming from the seam. Is there a way to repair this without replacing the
entire unit? Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help.
