Hi Bill, I have had several sets of Touring TA's (on Plain Vanilla) and I
quit them because of short life. I could not fault their roadhandling- way
sticky. My daughter got an '85 900 automatic base(Bored Blue) in the summer
of '95. It came with a set of Hankook Optimo Plus steel belted radials
185/65. They were far from new when we got the car. We added 30k+ to them
and they are still legal and still under a Saab-(parts car). Hankook is a
very large tire manufacturer in South Korea. I can't help you with
price/availability but I can recommend them for mileage and they drove
reasonably well. I can not, however, see me putting them on my 900t but as
they say Your Mileage May Vary.
