Water Pump

Has anyone else had repeated problems with the water pump in the NG 900's?
I have a 1995 900 SEV6, and while my car was still under warranty I heard a
horrible banging noise, and the car ended up having to be towed and the
water pump replaced. Then, last year the car broke down, I had to get a new
clutch, and while they were in there replacing the clutch they told me that
they had to replace the water pump. Then last week when I took the car in
for 85,000 mile service I was told that the water pump was noisy, and that
it needed to be replaced. Since it has been replaced a year and a month ago
I complained, and it was done for free under the Saab 'goodwill' program.
Still, I am on my fourth water pump and find this a little strange. Any
comments?
