I bought seat covers from Saabstuff.com and they are fantastic - superb -
beautiful - excellent etc etc etc. Very easy to deal with Don at Saabstuff
- an honest man with a great product. Highly recommended - no worries
buying from him. I'll email you some photos on the side. Some details:

I have a '79 900 turbo 5 door with an '85 leather interior in the tan color.
I just wanted to replace the fronts and had received a headrest cover to
start. Just doing the fronts would have made the rear seat look worse than
it was - it was still pretty good. So I decided to do fronts and rears.
Don went the extra mile and ordered the whole set from the same dye lot to
guarantee a perfect color match. Delivery was about 1 - 2 weeks later
planned due to this, but I look at it now and I swear it's the same cow!

The fit and finish are excellent. All the tabs, holes, slots etc are in
exactly where you need them. They are complete leather - not just the
seating surface. The fronts have the back pockets too. This was my first
time doing this so it took me about 35 hours from pulling them out to
putting them back in. Bear in mind this was for both fronts and both front
headrests, bottom and seatback for the rear, center armrest, rear headrests.
I am certain I could nearly cut that in half to do it again. For just the
driver's seat - allow 4 hours. Removing the seat and original covers are
easy. Get a good clean work area at waist height. You'll need several
plier types, extended reach needle nose helps out. You don't need alot of
mechanic skill to do this - just patience and some planning. The headrest
is the biggest pain because the new cover fits so snugly. The trick is to
cover the foam with a plastic grocery bag and then slide (with much cursing,
sweat and thinking 'how the hell with this fit on here'!) the new cover on.
The bag eliminates the friction between the rough side of the cover and
foam.

Your new grey spg seat should match very well. However, it will be new,
clean and in perfect condition compared to the others. The color may be
slightly different due to aging. Get a headrest cover first and see how it
will compare to the exisiting leather.

good luck
