The B-motor (which I'm assuming is what you have in your 99) was used in
1979 and 1980 in the 900; if you can find one of these that has all the
fuel components in tact (computer, lambda modulator, intake
manifold/throttle body, fuel pump/gas tank, fuel distributor/air meter,
warmup regulator, various heat sensors, probably other stuff I've
missed), then you'd be set. If you could find such an early 900 CIS
system, the conversion should be fairly straightforward. That being
said, you should probably also hunt up a few kg of patience, about the
same amount of perseverance, and maybe take up Yoga and/or study Zen,
'cause it's going to take you awhile to get the bugs out of the
conversion. Far more time than it would take to diagnose/fix your carb
system, methinks.
